What does it feel like to sit in the actual European Parliament, debate real issues with students from across Europe, and then continue that journey through volunteering abroad?
In this episode, host Andrei Stanciu takes listeners through his path from becoming a Junior Ambassador in the European Parliament Ambassador School (EPAS) program to participating in Euroscola in Strasbourg and volunteering with the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) in North Macedonia.
Matej Trajkoski joins the conversation as a curious peer who is involved in debate activities at his high school in Prilep, asking the questions many young people would ask: What is Euroscola really like? How do debates work inside the European Parliament? And how can programs such as EPAS, ESC, Erasmus+, and DiscoverEU open doors for young people?
In the second part of the episode, Andrei reflects on how European opportunities can help young people build skills, confidence, and connections across borders. The episode concludes with a special interview with Senior Ambassador and Vice Principal Cîrîc Geanina from Romania, who shares insights from years of coordinating EPAS projects and supporting students in becoming active European citizens.
This episode is a conversation about democracy, education, volunteering, and the opportunities available to young people across Europe.
