In this sixth episode of Corruption: Conversations That Uncover, host Elizabeth Bradshaw—a Peace Corps volunteer based in Prilep is back to speak with Alma Fejzić of CROA Bosnia and Herzegovina about regional approaches to fighting corruption. With insights from a recent study visit, the conversation highlights how state capture—where public institutions are influenced by private interests—affects both Bosnia and North Macedonia. Alma shares how youth and civil society can respond through grassroots action, cross-sector dialogue, and by creating systems built on fairness and transparency. The episode offers practical lessons for young people seeking to move from opposition to action, and reminds us that while corruption may take many forms, the tools to fight it can be shared across borders.
